Aghnia: Hello Cempaka, how's it going?

Cempaka: Alhamdulillah, my news is good

Aghnia: Cempaka is already a famous graphic designer.

Salmaa: That's right, her designs have spread across many regions.

Cempaka: It's not like that

Aghnia: hahaha okeey I'm curious, you've been in the world of design for 2 years now, what do you think is the reason you chose to become a graphic designer?

Salmaa: Yeah, I'm also curious, when just yesterday the three of us were sitting having coffee in the cafeteria, eh now we're already graphic designers.

Cempaka: hahaha... Actually, the reason why I chose to be a graphic designer is because I have an interest in graphic design. If we do something according to our interests and desires, it must be more enjoyable. And I also want to show my talent in this field.

Aghnia: So, is it fun to meet the computer every day? Do you feel tired when designing a project?

Cempaka: I definitely get tired, but because I like design-related things, I don't feel tired. 

Salmaa: I want to know, right in the world of designing, you must have many skills, what skills do you think a graphic designer must have?

Cempaka: In my opinion, a graphic designer must have creative design ideas, and they must understand the principles of design. Not only that, but a graphic designer must also know how to realize their creative ideas. The way is by mastering design software, such as Corel draw, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe illustrator, and other software. 

Salmaa: Well, can you tell us about your process in designing projects?

Aghnia: And how do you manage your time between your daily activities and the deadlines of your projects?

Cempaka: There are several steps that I take in completing a project. The first is to determine the concept, this is very important, because if there is no concept, it will be difficult in the future. Then the second is determining the idea or ideas according to the concept that has been determined earlier. After that, we determine the media, design elements, colors, logo, and layout. 

As for time management, I always divide my time between daily activities and design projects. What I prioritize the most, I do it first, and focus on it. But on my days off, I focus more on daily activities outside of design, maybe hanging out with my family like that.

Aghnia: That means on your days off you focus on activities outside of design.

Cempaka: Yes, that's right.

Aghnia: Well Cem, nowadays there are so many design developments in every region, do you want to know how you can always keep up with the growing design trends?

Cempaka: I always follow the trends that are in demand, from there I will apply them in the form of designs. Sometimes I also survey the needs of today's people for design. Maybe for promotional purposes or the interests of my own clients.

Salmaa: ohh it turns out that the world of design is not that relaxed, there are so many things that we just know and that are important in the world of graphic design.

Aghnia: That's all we've talked about in the graphic design world.
